The Toy

On one of his bratty son Eric's annual visits, the plutocrat U.S. Bates takes him to his section store and offers anything in it as a present. Eric selects a janitor who's left him laugh with his antics. In the beginning the man suffers many indignities since Eric's"toy", but gradually educates the lonely boy exactly what it is like to possess also to be considered a friend.
