The Last Tycoon

Place in Shanghais Gangster era of the early 1900s,'' the final TYCOON tells the story of CHENG (Chow Yun-Fat), a young man who is set up by the chief of police (Sammo Hung) and needs to leave the life he knows and QIU (Monica Mok), the girl he loves, to begin. and quickly moves his way up the ladder of Shanghais criminal underworld to become on the mob bosses in Shanghais history after speeding prison CHENG. But fame and notoriety simply take their toll if CHENG finds himself stuck between the scheming local service and also the looming Japanese army. Matters are only compounded when he lumps along side her husband, into the love of the entire life QIU. Will love rekindle in the dusk of an era?
