The Eagle

In 140 AD, twenty five years after the unexplained disappearance of the whole Ninth Legion from the mountains of Scotland, young centurion Marcus Aquila (Tatum) takes place from Rome to address the puzzle and restore the standing of his dad, the commander of the Ninth. Accompanied only by his British slave Esca (Bell), Marcus sets out across Hadrian's Wall into the uncharted highlands of Caledonia - to confront its savage tribes, create peace together with his dad's memory, and then also retrieve the lost legion's gold emblem, the Eagle of the Ninth.
