With the help of the singer and dancer Dixie Leonhard US-Entertainer Eddie Sparks wants to bring some fun during World War II into the soldiers. Becoming a perfect team they tour from North Africa into the Pacific to do something for"the boys". They continue their job but when Eddie is gets involved in McCarthy's campaign and firing the author , Dixie turns away from him too.
